Brookeville

Brookeville is a medium sized coastal town in York County, Maine, named for the Brooks family who founded the town in 1857. It was founded as a railroad town, and it was mostly populated by rail workers and working class folks in the first 100 years of its existence. In the 1960's, the rail industry began to decline, and the railroad was declared defunct in 1978, and it now sits in ruin in what is now the Joseph Wildlife Preserve. Since then, it is mostly populated by families, aside from the oceanfront, which is populated by wealthy elderly retirees. Its main attraction is the large beach, spanning nearly 1/4 of a mile, as well as the many eclectic tourist shops located on Main street. It is also the location of the York County Penitentiary, which is famous for the long legal battle in the 1980s that it took to get it built. It remains a blight on an otherwise peaceful town, and several claims have been filed by officials since, in an effort to relocate the prison to a more remote location. Brookeville is bordered by Wells to the South, Frenata to the West, Kennebunkport to the East, and Kennebunk to the North. Disclaimer: Brookeville (and Frenata) are entirely fictional, so don't waste precious moments of your life going to Maine and looking for it. It isn't based on any particular place, and is rather a mix of different locations I've lived or been to.

Mountainside Road

Mountainside Road is a road in Milton, NH that is owned by Warren Johnson. It was once a popular outdoor recreation spot, but it is now posted against hunting, fishing, etc, much to the butthurt of the local rednecks. There is a large swimming pool on the property, which leads into a gorge which Warren sometimes uses for camping. Victor's house is a small cabin that was once abandoned, until Warren restored it in 2016, and used it for a vacation cabin until moving into his main house in 2018. Warren has stored his marijuana in the back woods since 2018 to keep it away from the eyes of the law.

2. Victor's house (restored cabin).

3. Warren's weed greenhouse.

Home island

Ash's home island, where he and Cheyenne were born, is a large and uninhabited island somewhere in the Carribbean. Ignore hideously drawn map and lack of info because I'm too lazy to change it right now

Special locations (x's)

-Orange x in woods: Where Ash's parents were killed

-Green x behind bungalow: Where the twins were born

-Blue x in water: Where Cheyenne drowned

Island

Bungalow (brown rectangle): This is where Ash and his family lived. It is a basic wooden structure, large enough for a family (though not particularly roomy when several people are inside), with a wooden roof and walls, and no door. The floor is nothing but a blanket laid over the sand. In the area in front of the bungalow, the cauldron and fire for cooking was placed. Meals were often eaten here. Behind the bungalow was where the family kept their shell collections.

Forest: The forest covers most of the island, and it is lush and tropical. It also has a lot of small mammals and birds, and the occasional large animal (such as wolves).

Stream: The stream is little more than runoff water from the sea. However, it retains the sea's warmth, but is less salty, making it a better place to bathe, swim or drink from.

Pool: The pool is a small area of warm water, which makes a perfect swimming spot. It also has a nice view of the nearby waterfall.

Cave/cliffs: A short stretch of cliffs surrounds this corner of the island, one of which has a cavern inside. This cavern is quite short, but like most caves, has interesting rock and stalagmite formations.

Fox den

The fox den is, obviously, where the foxes live. It is a large underground burrow (big enough for a human to fit through, though not at full height), with an entrance blocked by a large boulder to keep intruders out. The boulder must be pushed aside to allow entry, which is inconvenient, but none of the foxes complain.

Inside the den is an underground spring, which the foxes use for drinking and bathing. There's one large room where most of them sleep, plus several chambers further in, for food storage, and sleeping quarters for Sprinter and the Elder.

Also there's no pic of it because I've had this website since 2010 and haven't bothered with it yet so obviously I'm never going to.

Other places

The other towns mentioned on here are actual towns that exist, so obviously I'm not gonna add their info. As for the other fictional town, Frenata, I'm too lazy to make a layout for it so you'll just have to die in suspense wondering what it looks like. Unless some generous cartographer wants to make me a map.
